Exciting New Upcoming PUBG Map Updates
The new maps that would be joining the rotation are Tiger and Kiki. Tiger map is one of the most sought out maps in this update that would introduce respawns in the battle royale. Moreover, PUBG’s Tiger map will also include some “new features never seen before in PUBG.”[novashare_tweet tweet=”The greatest battle royale game of all time continues to evolve as PUBG Corp launched a development map for 2021. The biggest update includes two new maps and an updated version of Miramar.” cta_text=”PUBG Map Updates Tiger and Kiki” hide_hashtags=”true”]
These development plans came after a plethora of player feedbacks made its way to PUBG Corp. The top suggestion made by the fans was to return to large maps. So both Kiki and Tiger will be 8×8 ratio maps. Kiki map contains tightly packed and denser areas which will offer more action and bloodbath. While Tiger map will introduce the new feature of respawn. The respawn feature in battle royale was first introduced by Apex Legends which was then adopted by Fortnite and finally now making its way to PUBG.
As for Miramar revamp plans, it won’t get a complete overhaul rather changes in textures and building layouts. Moreover, traversing in Miramar will also get easier as unnecessary obstacles will be omitted. Some more updates in Miramar are related to lighting, topography, graphics, overall performance, and special features. Miramar’s update will go live with update 12.1 while Tiger and Kiki maps will be playable in late 2021 or early 2022.
The inclusion of respawning feature in PUBG is exciting and will add to the fun. However, it will be interesting to see how the PUBG community feels about it. We have noticed that 2020 was more focused on smaller PUBG maps however, with the inclusion of two 8×8 maps, players will flock to larger maps again.
