Sledgehammer Games Release Details on COD Vanguard Beta.
Call of Duty fans on PlayStation were the lucky ones to play COD: Vanguard before its official release. This opportunity came in the shape of Alpha testing a while ago and players experienced the newest entry in the COD franchise. Now, COD: Vanguard is once again playable in form of beta testing with couple more beta tests coming up this month. The developers of Vanguard, Sledgehammer Games, released information for COD fans on what to expect from the beta. Let’s check out what the beta has in store for us.
COD: Vanguard multiplayer will have five different maps; Champion Hill, Red Star, Hotel Royal, and Gavutu. In the second week of the beta testing, another map Eagles’ Nest will be playable. This time once again the focal point will be the new Champion Hill mode among some other modes. The test will span two weeks with week one featuring modes like Champion Hill, Domination, Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, with Patrol joining in the test on Saturday of weekend 1. Weekend 2 will feature Search and Destroy joining in other modes.
As for weapons, players will get their hands on 2 ARs, 2 LMGs, 2 snipers, 2 shotguns, and 2 pistols in the Champion Hill mode. Players will also get to experiment with custom layouts on their respective playing devices.
Sledgehammer also shared details on Combat Pacing which will be tested in the beta. This feature will place players in matches according to their likings with the option of three different approaches; Tactical, Assault, and Blitz.
COD fans who are interested in experiencing COD Vanguard beta should mark their calendars from September 10th till 13th, pre-ordering is a must. The open-beta will be out for PS players from September 16th till September 20th.
As for players on PC and Xbox, they too can play between September 16th and 20th, only if they have pre-ordered the game. The open beta for PC, and Xbox players will run from September 18th till September 20th.
