After more than a year, Nintendo Direct is back with a bang and hosted an in-depth and profound Direct Presentation. The latest Nintendo Direct announcements include remasters, port, and the best of all new installments from current franchises.

The hour-long event focused on the games set to hit Nintendo’s hybrid gaming console, the Switch, during the first half of 2021. Let’s check out the announcements made at the event.

Splatoon 3

Splatoon 3, the third installment in Splatoon franchise, is all set to launch on Nintendo Switch in 2022. However, there isn’t much information about the game at the time except for the new desert setting with the same paint-shooting action.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD ,Nintendo Direct

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is a re-release of the 2011 Wii U, the launch will also see a new pair of Zelda-themed Joy-Cons. Nintendo also announced that it will share more information about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in the coming months.

Mario Golf Super Rush : Nintendo Direct

This one is the newest installment in the Mario Golf Series and the game is set to release on June 25th. This game is the first one in the series to reach Nintendo Switch. The game contains a story campaign, new modes, and motion controls.

There were several more announcements in the Direct presentation like Super Mario-themed items coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Moreover, Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout is making its way to Nintendo Switch, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is getting an awesome expansion pass for $20. Furthermore, two old school murder mystery games as making their way to North America after being localized in English. No More Heroes 3 will hit Nintendo Switch consoles on August 27th this year.
