Facebook’s parent company, Meta, is spending billions every year in an attempt to create “the metaverse.” Its main competition, the company said, is from Microsoft, Sony, Apple, Epic Games, and Google. The “metaverse” concept that Meta is pursuing is similar to online gaming worlds, with 3D avatars
